Absolutely wonderful! Without a doubt, one of my favorite books. This book, while certainly a thick read, is one of the most brilliantly written, thoroughly researched, wrenchingly emotional non-fiction books I've ever had the privelege to pick up. It details not only the "Last Days of the Soviet Union," but also the events and circumstances leading up to its dissolution. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
