It falls apart a bit at the end, but the first 3/4 will blow your mind.

When I saw the description of AND I SHALL HAVE SOME PEACE THERE comparing the book to EAT PRAY LOVE (without the travel) I knew I had to add this to my to-be-read list! Okay, I still need to re-read Eat Pray Love (and give it another chance after seeing the movie, which I loved!) but I'm really interested in reading about another journey to self-discovery... especially one that starts in a place like New York and moves elsewhere.
