Oh Anne. One of these days I'll read all the other things you have written!

The thing that bothered me most about this book was the title. There really is no uprising. Did they name it that because they thought it might draw some of her other readers into a historical fiction if they gave it a flashier title? I did, however, like the story in general. I thought she did a good job of making her characters believable and likable. I thought it was a good introduction into labor practices for kids, and I would recommend it to one of my children for a book report. I wasn't that sold on the surprise ending, but I guess it made you care a little more about each character. It was a good read though.
