This is the first in a light-reading mystery series set in the antiques world. It's an original setting and the writing was pretty engaging. While I enjoyed the story, the effort involved in weaving together the two storylines was a bit forced and obvious, and I could have done with far fewer internal "conversations" between Sterling and her deceased mother. But I liked it enough that I'll definitely look for the next book in the series.
