This was an enjoyable book to read. It got really interesting after the main character Genna was transported back in time to the 1800's. Once she returned to the present, I would have liked her story to continue, but it ended leaving me with a lot of loose ends. With that said I'd still recommend this book to others.

This was a really fun book. I listened to about half of it on audio cd on a road trip to visit a friend in NC. The reader was Brendan Fraser (of George of the Jungle Fame) and he did an excellent job. The book itself was really good. It was a good kids fantasy novel. It wasn't trying to be Harry Potter which is refreshing in today's market.
