This was a quick read. It's Lewis' idea of what the afterlife may look like. The basic premise is that God does not send us to hell, but rather we send ourselves there through our vanity, lust, glutonny, etc... Essentially we are the same in our afterlife as we are on earth except that to get something, we only need to think about it. This way, if what you really want is money, or things, or houses, or whatever, you can have as much as you want.
