I was very disappointed in the third book of Marek Halter's trilogy. I was not engaged in the character and her story nor did I feel that it was a complete story; no resolution at the end; blah. I really enjoyed the first two and was so looking forward to this one - what a let down.

Wow, Reece and Carmen having amazing chemistry, yeah sometimes you don't know whether their going to love or kill one another but what's wrong with that. The wit and humor in this book are wonderful and although I didn't originally think I would find snakes sexy this series has definitely changed my mind. Reece is a cocky, sexy, amazing Ophidian (snake shifter), when he struck a deal with Carmen he may have bitten off more than he can chew. Carmen is a pretty sexy shifter herself, she's resourceful, smart and willing to play along with Reece long enough to get what she needs. Carmen shows Reece that when you make a deal with a snake it's best to not anger the poisonous ones.
