OK: the last two books I read have been about Afghanistan and Iraq. Now I am delving into a history of US/Middle East relations since 1776. What am I thinking??? This book is one that I will purchase and make part of my library, but for a summer read - it is not. I'll get back to it in the fall. But for now, I move on.
