My belief is that if a person picks up a Rand - and sticks with her to the final page - whichever book was read first, be it Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead is that person's favourite Rand. For me, it was Atlas Shrugged. I love these books. Don't get me wrong, I am pleased as pickles that AR isn't my mom (that, I feel, would have been one heck of an upbringing) but I do appreciate and loved reading these books.
