This book was a nice change from the typical romance. I liked it- but it was one of those books that spans 10 years. Kind of annoying. I am not the biggest fan of Shannon Hale's style of writing. Even though it spans 10 years, it still feels rushed, and some details she chose to add, I just skipped through- they didn't feel necessary. I really can't stand how she does kissing scenes. I didn't like it in Austenland and not so much in this book either.

So this book is filled with horrifying yet true statistics... I don't know if I am glad i read it or not :)
