Quite graphic. A surprisingly deep book just like much of Lee's back catalog. Wonderful read. Horror as it supposed to be written.

Darren Shan is a great YA writer. I started with his first series, Cirque Du Freak, and it had a great storyline, twists and turns...and such details. This series, The Demonata, beauty can be found in the blood and gore. Great work Shan.... Great work.

I'm sorry, I couldn't make it through the 2nd chapter, so I just skimmed the rest. I was really expecting more on having a positive attitude than about politics. I learned a lot about stem cell research, though, and what it really entails. I really do admire Michael J Fox and all that he has had to endure. I know everything he is doing is for betterment of this world and to find that during these times is refreshing.

This book was not as good as it could have been, set in the 1880's New Zealand, the language the characters used was more modern than it should have been, none of the characters were very likable. I kept expecting something to happen that didn’t. I would not recommend this book to readers who enjoy historical fiction.

this is my new book club book. I loved this book at times and sometimes I didn't even know what was going on. I preferred the older story to modern time story. It was a very big book about the holy grail and the books that were kept secret and hidden in order to keep it from the people that will misuse it. There many gory wars in this book that were disturbing and many deaths. All in all it was a ok book.
