I picked up this book because it was listed on NPR as a YA book that an adult would like reading. Well, I completely DON'T agree! I have read many YA distopic novels and this is my least favorite! The writing was tedious, over written - too emotional--boring--plodding--predictable. Love as a desease - OK, but give me some depth! Maybe the part we skipped over was the best part...after listening to almost 50% of it, we were board and skipped to the end. Granted, the writer had a good ending and it was good enough to listen to 4+ discs...I'm just very disappointed. Too tean angsty!

Laugh if you will... but you will all be wanting to borrow it from me...you watch!
