I originally avoided reading this book but after all the Hollywood hype and urging from a few friends I decided to read it. I was unable to put down the book and finished it under 24 hours. The three main characters Sketter, Aibileen, and Minnie all face challenges and unfair roadblocks in life but none of them are whiners or ask why me as they go on with their day to day life. The supporting cast of characters ranged from deeply sympathetic to horribly horrendous people who all are very believable characters. In the end the book they created "Help" was for themselves. They were able to find peace within and were finally able to get what they needed most in life.
