This book will appeal to all of us who secretly believed in our youth that we had really been adopted and our "real" family was much superior to the one in which we ended up. (Lindsey, in fact, wanted to change her name to Princess Aurora when she was about five--but I digress) Suspense and intrique abound in this book with twists and turns to keep most middle schoolers reading. I found it a little silly at times. Maybe this was the fairy tale aspect of it...or maybe it is because I am not a middle schooler.
