Bu kısa ama ilginçti.
I got a little frustrated with this author's treatment of her characters. The first 2/5ths of the book is overly-full of main character's barely surviving, over and over again. The predictability of everyone being picked off except those characters who'd been introduced enough to arouse interest became a little bit ridiculous. I suppose the author made up for that with her surprise twist at the end... but really? A sneeze? It felt a little flat. However, what the story lacked in smooth plot transitioning she made up for with perfect little brooklets of visual description and some truly impressive character development. Granted, this was a translation of a French text so I guess some of that credit goes to the translator, but I enjoyed these aspects of the story enough to keep reading even after I'd peeked at the ending with exasperation, (wondering "Is she really going to cheat death for that many hundred more pages at this rate? Yawn.) It got better, and I ought not to have cheated.
