This would have been a better read if Curry had a reliable editor onboard. The book jumps around a bit too much & could have been better organized. Clearly, Curry knew/knows a lot of folks in the hip hop game & his stories about the early ties between nascent hip hop labels & (not so) organized crime are really compelling. Too, his intel on the inner workings of Bad Boy & Diddy in the early days is pretty good, but poor editing took me out of his story too often.
