This book was alright. Had I read it prior to "Joy Luck Club", I would have liked it better. I am facinated with asian culture, and in that aspect, it was descriptive and illuminating. Amy Tan is a wonderful writer. I love her detail and descriptions. The story is good, just not "Joy Luck Club" good.

A really engaging and (at times brutally) honest look at the three major monotheistic religions in modern America. It's maybe not brilliant or ground-breaking, but I think it's also really accessible and readable and delves into a lot of issues surrounding the American perception of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

A HUGE help in figuring out what to expect each month of pregnancy and answers the question "is this normal?!?"

I liked Luke's earlier book 'Minding tomorrow' but this was dull in comparison. Mostly it spent far too long training up the characters to use the technology. Felt like I was going through the training too :-/
