I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up at plane reading and found myself engrossed in the character and the stories that she uncovered as well as her own story. I wish that it would have been longer, but a really pleasant way to spend an afternoon or two.

This fantastic book illustrates how we have been sold a bill of goods about health, nutrition, and exercise that is completely wrong and not based on sound scientific research. The irony is that we are told what is "healthy" by the FDA at the same time they tell us about the "obesity epidemic" which is caused by what they are telling us is healthy. If you believe a calorie is a calorie and that calories in must be lower than calories out then you need this book. A thorough, extremely well researched work that will improve you health, heart, mind, and soul literally.
