i'm not sure if i liked this book. granted, i haven't read a stephen king book since high school (when i was super into him), but i found this book really hard to follow at times. i found some of the storyline interesting especially the fact that my reality and their reality seem to overlap but don't know they co-exist somehow. i also found the concept of the past and future overlapping quite interesting as well, like how the whole book has a very old west type feel: desolation, jargon, lore. but again, trying to like it and not sure if i actually did. in it's defense, it is part of a series and how often are the first ones really wonderful. i was told the 2nd and 3rd book are amazing, so i guess i'll have to update this review after i read the other two.
