** spoiler alert ** This book was fabulous! I loved the suspense and seeing the relationship between Edward and Bella develop even further amidst all the stress and worry. The competition for Bella's affection begins to highten. Bella loves both Edward and Jacob, but cannot bare the thought of giving one of them up. I am understanding of her situation, but I got a bit tired of her avoidance. It seems like she should have made her feelings clear from the beginning. Bella becomes more and more a fixture of hope and love to both the vampires and the wolves, making a small level of tolerance between the them possible. Edward is still trying to protect Bella as best he can, while still despising himself for putting her danger. Meanwhile, Bella is becoming more and more willing to sacrifice herself to save the people she cares about. Having Bella and Edward discuss their love and what they desire was very interesting. It was great to see things from each character's point of view. Having them commit to their love against all of obstacles they face was the most gratifying turn of events.
