I'll admit that even I got teary-eyed.

This book was fast-paced, thrilling, suspenseful, and surprisingly romantic! I hadn't known quite what to expect with this series....but within the first chapter, just being caught up-to-date by Katniss and what the Hunger Games were and how they'd started, I was immediately HOOKED! I absolutely loved the characters. And like I said, I was unaware just HOW much of this book was based around Peeta's and Katniss's budding relationship; but I wouldn't have had it any other way now that i've read it! That, for me, was the best part of the series....(well, I should specify: out of a MILLION different reasons to enjoy this book, that was among the top!) I was sad when it all ended. (Not that i'd want to ruin it by Ms. Collins adding any additional books!) But I must, embarrassingly, admit that I felt like I broke up with someone when I finished the last page of this trilogy....
